To be brutally honest: while I am opposed to taxation because it is theft, I prefer the current system to one with lower, flat rates and no deductions. The mortgage interest deduction, various other deductions, HSA deductions, and the deductions for IRA and 401(k) contributions serve the middle class well. Any politician who messes with those deductions ought to be crucified.

And I already told you that I prefer single payer health insurance to the current mess. Not bad for a Rothbardian Anarchist, eh?

What we need to do is reign in federal spending across-the-board, including military spending, and abolish the Federal Reserve.
